Welcome to Knitting History!

This is the website of the Knitting History Forum. We are an international multi-period society originally founded in 1993. Our members are engaged in advancing and promoting the history of knitting.

Our annual conference and AGM in November feature a wide variety of speakers. We also hold informal sessions where participants can share research, discuss their latest projects and arrange trips to view collections.
